Learning Arabic Demonstrative Pronouns This and That

Hello Katabah!

On this tutorial, I make some sentences in Arabic by using word “this” and “that”, either for male or female.

هَذَا: this (male)

هَذِهِ: this (female)

ذَالِكَ: that (male)

تِلْكَ: that (female)

هَذَا ذِئْبٌ

هِذِهِ  ذِئْبَةٌ

ذَالِكَ جَمَلٌ

تِلْكَ جَمَلَةٌ

ذَالِكَ اَرْنَبُ

TRANSLATION (TARJAMAH)

1. This is a jackal (male).

2. This is a jackal (female).

3. That is a camel (male).

4. That is a camel (female).

5. That is a rabbit (male).

VOCABULARY (MUFRADAT)

ذِئْبٌ: jackal

جَمَلٌ: camel

اَرْنَبُ: rabbit
