There are opinions state that education system in Indonesia changes in step with policy maker in central. So, it is frequently heard misunderstanding of education practitioners to policy established central side. In short word, not seems there is good relationship between decision maker (government) and experts and practitioners of education who are frequently knower real condition in opened field.
Not excessive if Indonesia reformation also must be done in education field. World knows that civilization progression of a nation is most influenced by the education quality. Japan also proved with big attention to teachers since accident of Hiroshima and Nagasaki long time ago. Now, this small country could compete with developed countries such as America, England, German, China, French, and so on.
Let us look at meaning of education reformation itself. Education reformation is restructuring of education, that is improving relationship pattern of school and environment and government, developing pattern of plan and managerial, optimizing of teachers and restructuring of learning models (Murhpy, 1992: 10 in Majid : 3).
By paying attention on the definition above, education reformation is not enough only by changing curriculum continuously. But we also must pay attention on condition of environment and other related fields with education. Cooperation of school (teachers), environment, and government is most needed to make Indonesia education better and better.
