In computer study, we know about DSS and ES. Two of them are believed can have a role as an expert, such as expert of dental, expert of heart detection, expert of plant disease, and so on. By this system or application, an expert must not meet his/her patients or clients directly (face to face). They will be enough to interact with computer system.
Decision Support System (DSS) has four characteristics:
1. Interactive
2. Flexible
3. Quality Data
4. Expert Procedure
In Indonesia, DSS is known as Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK). But some of Indonesian students also often prefer using term DSS than SPK.
