PROSPECT OF PHP PROGRAMMING

Someone learns PHP for some goals, those are making program, making interesting Wordpress Theme, sharing tutorial with friends freely. When understanding PHP programming, many programmers want to increase their skill by understanding other related programming language too, such as Javascript + JQuery + HTML (Source). PHP is known as server script language and used in all popular operating systems, such as Windows, UNIX, Linux, and so on (Source).


PHP is often used to develop dynamical web. Can be said that majority of web developing in the world using PHP, for example web that has been legend for some years recently, such as facebook, friendster and digg (Source).

Work of a programmer is very large. For example, an Indonesian programmer who lives in Yogyakarta (one of Indonesia provinces) receives order from Java Island, Banjarmasin, Padang, Lampung, Samarinda, and Jakarta, although the most orders come from Yogyakarta. The programmer suggests that if we want to learn PHP, we can use DreamWeaver Version 8 as first step for programmers who focus for working (Source).

An Indonesian programmer thinks prefer creating a moderate complexity website by using PHP framework than using Java or NET framework, or other frameworks. The programmer concludes that entirely PHP framework is better than Java and NET framework in cases: building, spreading and maintenance. Number of web hosting corporations that support PHP is more than number of corporations that support NET and Java (Source).

Learn programming based on target! If we want to make programmed website, we can understand PHP well. In Internet, the materials about it are available so much (Source). There are Web Builder applications that can be used easily, quickly and without must know HTML or PHP, such as WordPress, Joomla, Mamboo, or other CMS’ that increasing continuously. But, when using all instant Web Builder applications are better to set up them in order to be seen original or unique. For the setup, we need knowledge about HTML, even PHP (Source).

I hope this article can give information about PHP prospect at glance. While about comparison with other programming language, such as Java, it is just one of opinions, so we can find information about strength of other languages.
