Blog Linda Ikeji uses free sub domain from Blogspot, but…. The traffic is huge…! I never imagine it will occur so.
Many Indonesian bloggers say that if we want to be a professional blogger, then we must use Top Level Doman, such as *.com, *.org, *.net, etc.
But after seeing Lindas’ blog, I think again. Today I have opinion that although we don’t know about SEO principles more, but we post articles diligently, then our blog will get many visitors, including using free sub domain.
I also hear that her blog get over 300,000 statistics per day. And her income is in million number.
I see on archive menu in Linda’s blog. She has over 15,000 articles now. And she also often updates about 20 articles everyday.
Although like that, I still agree that if we want buy domain and hosting is better because there are Indonesian bloggers who get banned from Google. Their Blogspot is deleted by some reason.
If we don’t want to pay hosting, buying domain only is also OK. Why? Because although we here hosting, but we also can’t do freely against Google TOS, it will not be indexed from Google page that will make our blog desolated.
