He achieved Rp3.6 billion from one novel, Laskar Pelangi. This novel was also made to be film.

Habiburrahman El Shirazy
He achieved Rp2.4 billion from one novel, Ayat-Ayat Cinta. This novel was also made to be film. I never imagine there is such novelist who has education background from Egypt.
