Jokowi is one of most popular candidates for
President Indonesia 2014. Is he a superman without weakness?
According to Emrus Sihombing, Joko
Widodo (Jokowi) doesn’t have enough experience in solving national and
international conflict yet. He also suggested solution for Jokowi to take a
vice president who can solve it. [1]
Weakness of the candidate is not
only come from internal Jokowi, but comes from his party too, PDIP. This party
is not still known to have good management though today I see the chief, Megawati
built new image and big step to support president candidate who is not from the
big family of Soekarno.
One of the facts, a small thing but
important, there is PDIP campaign in front of school where the students are
examining [2]. But violation in political campaign is not done by PDIP only,
other parties did it too.
While Jokowi’s strength, he is a
humanist leader. He builds good communication with his citizen with blusukan
activities. The governor of DKI Jakarta is also success to manage Pedagang
Kami Lima without big conflict [3].
I see Jokowi is not still issued to
negative actions, such as corruption, failed leadership, etc. His existing
weakness just related to idealism, not failure. It is different from some
popular candidates, such as Abu Rizal Bakrie and Prabowo.
Next, I must find information more about
him so that I actually know who is he? Is Jokowi the real president candidate
or just a ‘film actor’?
