Hello Katabah!
Alright! In this post, I write about Interrogative Sentences
of Present Tense in Indonesian Language. We know that Indonesian language only
have one verb form, Verb 1 (no verb 2, nor verb 3). So, the verb is simpler
than English has.
Pattern for Verbal Sentence:
Apakah + Subject + Verb + Object
Notes:
Here, I don’t speak about question-word, OK!
Examples:
1. Apakah kamu membaca buku?
(Do you read a book)
Membaca: read
Answer:
Ya (Yes, I do)
Ya, saya membaca buku (Yes, I do. I read a book)
Tidak (No, I don’t)
Tidak, saya tidak membaca buku (No, I don’t. I don’t read a
book)
2. Apakah dia (perempuan) menulis surat?
(Does she write a letter?)
Answer:
Ya (Yes, do)
Ya dia menulis surat (Yes, She does. She writes a letter)
Tidak (No, she doesn’t )
Tidak. Dia tidak menulis surat (No, she doesn’t. She doesn’t
