I have an Arabic
expression to express “Nice to Meet You”. This expression is usually used when
we meet someone. It refers that we are happy to meet someone, such as friend,
guest, etc.
تَشَرَّفْنَا
“Nice to meet you.”
Or
“We are happy.”
Let’s see the expression
in a short conversation:
مِنْ اَيْنَ اَنْتِ؟
Where
are you from?
اَنَا مِنْ كَارُوْت
I
am from Garut.
وَاَنْتَ؟
And
you?
اَنَا مِنْ تَاسِيْك
I
am from Tasik.
