In Indonesian language,
“village” is “desa” or “kampung”. While in Arabic, it is “qoryah” (قَرْيَةٌ).
I’m learning to make some sentences in Arabic by using word “qoryah”.
اَنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ
I am from a village.
هُوَ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ
He is from from a village.
هِيَ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ
She is from a village.
اَحْمَدُ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ
Ahmad is from a village.
عَائِشَة مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ
Aisah is from a village.
اَنَا فِى قَرْيَةٍ
I am in a village.
نَحْنُ فِى قَرْيَةٍ
We are in a village.
Vocabulary (Mufradat):
اَنَا:
I
مِنْ: from
قَرْيَةٍ: village
هُوَ:
he
هِيَ:
she
اَحْمَدُ:
Ahmad (name of a man)
عَائِشَة:
Aisah or Aishah (name of a woman)
فِى:
in
نَحْنُ:
we
