Hello Katabah!

In Indonesian language, “village” is “desa” or “kampung”. While in Arabic, it is “qoryah” (قَرْيَةٌ). I’m learning to make some sentences in Arabic by using word “qoryah”.

اَنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ

I am from a village.

هُوَ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ

He is from from a village.

هِيَ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ

She is from a village.

اَحْمَدُ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ

Ahmad is from a village.

عَائِشَة مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ

Aisah is from a village.

اَنَا فِى قَرْيَةٍ

I am in a village.

نَحْنُ فِى قَرْيَةٍ

We are in a village.

Vocabulary (Mufradat):

اَنَا: I

 مِنْ: from

 قَرْيَةٍ: village

هُوَ: he

هِيَ: she

اَحْمَدُ: Ahmad (name of a man)

عَائِشَة: Aisah or Aishah (name of a woman)

فِى: in

نَحْنُ: we
